Celebrate the magic of Nordic Midsummer with the Nordics Club of Geneva! Whether you’re Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic—or just curious about how we celebrate Midsummer in the north—this sunny, family-friendly event is for you!
What’s Happening:
- Raise and decorate the Midsummer Pole
- Make your own flower crown
- Classic outdoor games like Mölkky
- A Quiz with fun prizes
- A playful Activity Tasks Time (mostly for kids, but fun for all!)
- Nordic-style treats to taste – gravlax, new potatoes, strawberry muffins (or something Nordic)
Bring your own picnic and drinks to share
Don’t forget your picnic blanket, hat, and sunscreen!

How to Get to Parc La Grange:
Take TPG lines 1, 2, 6, or 9 to “Eaux-Vives”
Or walk from Gare des Eaux-Vives (SBB CFF Leman Express)
Look for the nordics flags and group close to Ella Fitzgerald stage.
And if you spot some wildflowers on the way, please bring them along for the flower crowns and Midsummer Pole! Let’s make it beautiful together.
