it is already time to invite you for our next event!
Caves Ouvertes – Open Vineyards 2017
On Saturday 20th of May the Geneva vineyards open up their caves and invite us all inside to sample their fine wines. People participating in the outing past years still talk warmly about it, so let’s see if we can create …some new fond memories.
Practical details:
We will meet at 10:00 on platform 5 at Cornavin (behind the D-section on Platform 4-6). Members of the NC Board and organizers will be wearing the NC t-shirt (weather permitting) so they should be easily recognizable.
The train departs at 10:18 sharp. A normal TPG ticket for Geneva covers the transport. It might be advisable to buy a day pass (CHF 5.60 with demi-tariff). Return to Geneva at individual basis… Trains run every half hour.
This year we will visit again the numerous wineries in the Dardagny area.
In case you miss our ‘train’, next rendez-vous is at 12:30 for lunch at ‘Domaine du Centaure’
Then last rendez-vous will be in ‘Les Hutins’ by 15:00
Paid-up members will be given the mandatory wine glass for free!
If you are a member then bring your membership card.
If you are not a member then bring the membership fee of CHF 40 and we will get you signed up!
