Upcoming Winter Showshoe Hike!
Hey fellow Nordic Vikings!
After the success of the Diablerets hike and apéro in October, we now invite you to join us for the Winter Viking Snowshoe Hike & Apéro in Diablerets on Sunday 11 January!
The Diablerets area is famous for the highest mountains in Vaud and some spectacular vistas and nature, while being accessible by car and public transport to outdoor enthusiasts of all levels.
We will begin the day from the parking and bus stop at Col du Pillon, VD at 10:45am, and walk a loop of 4-5km (shorter option available) to a warm welcome at a 200 year-old traditional Swiss rural cabin at 1600 meters altitude. We will enjoy traditional Nordic drinks, starters and music, before walking the 2km back to arrive at Col du Pillon before dark.
Price:
- Members: 15 CHF
- Non-members: 30 CHF
(contribution includes the apéro & starters at the cabin)

With a nice snowfall forecast for Friday and Saturday, snowshoes are needed, and there are rentals available in the nearby village of Diablerets (shops below) or at your own preferred winter sport shop.
