SNOWSHOEING, CHALET LUNCH and SAUNA event in Nyon area
on Sunday 20 January 2019
SNOWSHOEING NEAR ST-CERGUE / FONDUE LUNCH AT A COZY CHALET / SAUNA AT NYON BEACH
Join us for a Sunday snowshoeing hike in the beautiful Jura Mountains near St. Cergue, including a fondue lunch in a chalet, followed by a relaxing wood-fired sauna at Nyon lakefront reserved exclusively for the Nordics Club, offering spectacular views of Lake Geneva.
We are happy to offer this Sunday outing with a package price of
75 CHF per person
(non-members pay 85 CHF)
Places limited to 15 persons max.
The package deal includes:
- Snowshoe rental (if you have your own snowshoes, you’ll get a discount of 20 CHF – please indicate this when signing up for the event)
- Chalet lunch including fondue, wine and water
- Sauna at Nyon lakefront
This is a full day event: we will leave Geneva in the morning to start snowshoeing on time to have lunch in the Jura, and we’ll descent back to Nyon for the sauna from 16:30-19:00. Specific meeting times as well as public transport connections will be communicated closer to the event.
What to bring:
Snowshoeing: ▪ winter clothing (ideally waterproof trousers, gloves, hat etc.) ▪ sturdy footwear (e.g. hiking boots)▪ snowshoes (optional) ▪ water
Sauna: ▪ a towel ▪ a pair of flip-flops (recommended) ▪ water ▪ swimsuit (optional)
