Hej Nordics!

Join us on Saturday 25 May 2019 for this year’s Caves Ouvertes – Open Vineyards, an outdoor activity not to miss!

Geneva’s vineyards open up their caves and invite us all inside to sample their fine wines. People participating in the outing past years still talk warmly about it, so let’s see if we can create …some new fond memories. Becoming a tradition over the past years, we’ll stick to the numerous vineyards in the lovely village of Dardagny.

Practical details:

We will meet at 11:00 on platform 5 at Cornavin station (behind the D-section between platform 4 and 6). If you have an NC t-shirt, please wear it so we are easily recognizable.

The train departs at 11:18 sharp to La Plaine, from where we will hop on a connecting bus to Dardagny. A normal TPG ticket for Geneva covers the transport. It might be advisable to buy a day pass (CHF 5.60 with demi-tariff).

In case you miss ‘our train’, the next rendez-vous is at 13:00 at ‘Domaine du Centaure’! The last meeting point will be at ‘Domaine Les Hutins’ at 16:00.

The event lasts until late afternoon / early evening. Return to Geneva at individual basis… Trains run every half hour.

Paid-up NC members will be given the mandatory wine glass for free (please bring your membership card)! If not a member yet, you can subscribe on spot (CHF 40) and also get the free wine glass.

Joining the event? Send your full name and phone number to nordicsclub@gmail.com (subject: Caves Ouvertes), and we’ll add you to a specially created WhatsApp group for this event (active from Thursday 23 May).

LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
